Oregon’s stunning landscape includes oceans, mountains, and deserts. The seas of the Pacific Ocean dance across beautiful white sand beaches; the mountains: majestic peaks that dance with the hues of the horizon; the desert: a dry, but cozy plot, which yearns for your interest. Of these programs, one unlikely addition is striking; High above the horizon, a small spec catches the eye. A bird … a plane? A crazy fan who has ditched a perfectly good plane? Bingo !! While not crazy, skydivers have taken to the air in droves to experience the scenery at a never-before-seen viewpoint. Oregon from the sky has proven to be an ever-appealing target for skydiving fans and fanciers alike.

Over the years, five major skydiving centers have sprung up in Oregon: Eugene Skydivers, Central Oregon Skysports, Skydive Eagle Creek, Skydive Oregon, Inc., and Wright Brothers Skydiving.

  • Offering tandem jumping, AFF, and static line, Eugene Skydivers does not have many of the commercial amenities like others, but offers lower costs as a result of this.
  • Central Oregon Sky Sports, offering an incredible view of the Cascade Mountains, offers static and tandem line jumps. This site also focuses on the basics and doesn’t offer many amenities.
  • Offering static and tandem line jumping, Skydive Eagle Creek is one of the lesser-known drop zones in Oregon. Although it offers some additional amenities, such as a pool, this facility is slightly less popular than its counterparts.
  • Skydive Oregon, Inc. is an incredibly frequent drop zone. Offering tandem and AFF, this facility is known for constantly having aircraft in the air and for having some of the most exceptional aircraft in the industry.
  • Offering static and tandem line jumps, Wright Brothers Skydiving also offers all the basics in a skydiving drop zone. Although there is no pool or bar, this facility is considered one of the best in the industry.

No matter your level of experience, you owe it to yourself to experience the breathtaking beauty of the Oregon countryside. While the ground level is impressive, it cannot be compared to a bird’s eye view.
