The Shamrock Lodgettes in Yachats Oregon
The Shamrock Lodgettes have beautiful, affordable rooms and are located in the small coastal town of Yachats, Oregon. Yachats is about a half hour from Newport, which is the most famous seaside town on the Oregon coast. There are all kinds of attractions and good places to eat. I have been to the Shamrock Lodgettes several times and have always enjoyed my stay.
The Shamrock Lodgettes are surrounded by lots of nature, like tall green trees and the ocean. You can walk outside your door and walk through the trees or walk to the ocean and beach access. The view is beautiful and very relaxing.
The first time I was in Lodgettes was a few years ago. I was with my sister and my parents. We rented a one bedroom apartment and found it to be very spacious. We had a sofa and a fold out bed, a wood stove, and cable TV. We also had a kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, stove, and even plates for eating and drinking. It was worth the $ 80 the night we spent.
The last time I visited the lodges was about a year ago on my honeymoon. Even though we visited in November, we found that the lodges had become a very popular vacation spot. The only cabin they had left was a two-bedroom. Naturally, we didn’t need such a big one, but we took it anyway. The price was only $ 100 a night, we stayed for two nights and it only cost us $ 215. My husband agreed it was a great deal. There were two full size beds in each room. We only needed one of the beds. There was a kitchen with everything we needed to cook our own food, which we did. We also watched cartoons on cable TV We also enjoyed the indoor spa. There is no spa in the rooms, but if you walk a little further you will find the room with the spa. It was very relaxing and lucky for us, no one else used the spa while we were in it.
The staff was very friendly and trustworthy. It was the best part of our honeymoon. We hope to return to Lodgettes soon. If you are looking for a beautiful and affordable vacation spot, I highly recommend Shamrock Lodgettes in Yachats, Oregon.
