Playa de Muro is a modern beach resort located in the middle of the Bay of Alcudia on the northeast coast of Mallorca. This new secluded complex, just 34 miles from Palma, is one of the newest developments in Mallorca. In the bay you will find first class luxury accommodation and also the best restaurants and shops in the area. In Puerto Alcudia there are good dining options along the quay, ideal for a quiet meal watching the world go by.

The fine sandy beach of Playa de Muro extends to the port and tourist center of Puerto Alcudia. This 9-mile stretch of golden sand beach has a beautiful tree-lined promenade and is considered one of the best beaches in Mallorca. The calm shallow blue waters, water sports and beach amenities are perfect for the whole family to enjoy. Water sports include diving, sailing and fishing. Along the coast are the tourist centers of Puerto Pollensa and Ca’n Picafort, which can be easily reached using the local buses.

The Playa de Muro area has many small lakes that are connected to each other by canals and is bordered by wetlands that form the S’Albufera Nature Reserve. Not far from inside the complex is the interesting medieval town of Alcudia with its imposing gates and walls. Other trips should include the amazing caves of Drach and Hams, the Lluc monastery and some of the picturesque little towns like Deya and Valldemosa.
