List of PC games and where to buy PC games

Every year the list of PC games gets longer, better and more challenging for the PC gamer. This year is no exception. This year’s games promise to be the best ever with a second, third or more editions of old favorites like The Sims and Quake and some new ideas that will blow your mind and keep you engaged for hours.

If you’re a history buff or just trying to convince others that the games are educational, “Scourge of War: Gettysburg” should be on your list of PC games. You can become one of the generals in the Civil War and know all the problems they faced.

Communication and confusion reigned in that time and you will feel their pains as you deal with it. You can practice your combat tactics while learning a bit of history in the process. Everything is historically accurate and the addition of multiplayer just sweetens the jackpot.

For those who love strategy games, “Sid Meier’s Civilization V” should be on your list of PC games. It’s a turn-based strategy game where you can team up with others for multiplayer games or just go deep into the game as a single player. It doesn’t have the same complexities with religion or government as the “Civilization IV” game, but it’s just as good. It is highly recommended for anyone, whether they have experienced the previous versions or not.

Old favorites like “Bejeweled 3” are still fun and new twists and turns make them even better. You play in four different modes: Zen, Enlightenment, Classic, and Quest. The classic mode is the old Bejeweled with some extra twists present in all the modes.

The lighting mode is similar to the old Bejeweled Blitz, but you can rack up extra time. Zen is different from all of the above. You can practice Yoga with a breath control, visualize or listen to relaxing sounds while playing. You will notice that the search mode is different from all other forms of Bejeweled and has a multitude of variations from poker to butterflies to keep you interested.

An expected release to add to your roster of PC games, coming in 2011 is “The Elder Scroll V: Skyrim” Skyrim is a fictional area that looks real, thanks to the unofficial Skyrim site. We hope the game is as good as its predecessor. The expected release date is November 11, 2011.
