How to decorate a red wagon for a wedding without breaking your budget

Weddings are expensive. Any ideas on how to keep costs down and stay creative is always a welcome tool in the wedding planner’s arsenal.

For example, wedding carriages are popular these days for nuptials. Of course, a car is not a MUST have at a wedding, but it certainly is a cute thing!

If you’ve been considering this idea, have you thought about how to decorate a red wagon for a wedding and still keep costs down?

Actually, this can be very simple.

– Keep it just awesome.

If you have chosen to use a RED wagon for your wedding, you must like the way its striking color looks.

In this case, less is definitely more.

It is not necessary to cover this car. Instead, add accessories to the wheels and the handle. You can add a fancy lining (just a piece of beautiful fabric with a flat hem will do) and let it peek out the sides of the bridal wagon.

Edge the eyeliner with some lace you find on sale. Any lace will look lovely, so stay away from the designer shelf!

Place flowers or ribbons around the slats and wheels of the wagon. Or use greenery for a naturally beautiful look. (However, make sure nothing interferes with the action of the wheels or the handle, for safety reasons.)

– Create your own look.

Making your own wedding wagon skirt is a fairly simple process. If it is not a sewer, consider purchasing a base skirt and customizing it to fit your wagon. You can go for a peek-a-boo fabric to let your red car shine, or a more opaque fabric that will cover your car in color completely.

Add pieces of ribbon, lace, and artificial flowers, as much as you and your budget want.

– Use what you have.

Use extra fabric from wedding party dresses and accessories.

If you already have an old wagon, but want something newer, use paint to completely upgrade your wedding wagon for a very low cost. (Again, make sure the wagon is sturdy and safe to use.)

Attached to the back of the carriage with a large satin bow, your engagement photo or “Almost Married” sign is a beautiful inexpensive touch.

Add white teddy bears with ribbons coordinated in your wedding colors to the cart along with your intended content. Borrow these bears from your friends and your friends will “participate” in your wedding!

Decorating a red wagon for your wedding doesn’t have to affect your wedding budget. Use creativity instead of cash and think about making it personal by adding items that you already have on hand.

After all, in the future, these are the things that will make your wedding photos much more memorable than the dollar amount you spent.
