Daily Nuggets Cafe Lounge – Wednesday Crazed
CRAZY WEDNESDAY
This morning, when Pete walked into the cafe, he greeted us enthusiastically, “Ladies, I finally have my vacuum cleaner! Ha ha.” He laughed for a minute.
“Really, you sound so funny about it… Is there anything you want to share with us, girl?” I joked with her.
“Yes, please tell us!” Cham and Gorge were excited to hear her story.
After Tonette placed our order, “Would it be all girls?”
“Yes, Tonette. Here’s my card, thank you. I’ll treat my friends this morning because I’m feeling very optimistic today.” With a wink, Pete handed his plastic over to Tonette.
We were all ears when Pete started telling us his story…
“This morning I was snapped out of my reverie by the loud and prolonged sound of my doorbell, at first I thought it was a fire alarm! I fell out of bed and rolled on the floor… I was so nervous! I felt Like throwing myself under a train! OMG! It was really crazy and out of the ordinary!
He drank his coffee and continued…
“No problem I got up so fast. I thought I was in the field full of tanks and heavy artillery, so I imagined navigating my room with radar and heading for the door…
Good sir! I was in my own house…” as she rolled her eyes… “I didn’t trip into any traps, my toes weren’t crooked on a chair leg or my head hit a door… A lucky escape, I had thought about it until I found my exit door!” She paused briefly and took a bite of her chocolate mousse cake.
“And then?” The three of us couldn’t wait to hear the rest of his story…
“Later, when I finally got to the door and turned the knob… oh, you wouldn’t believe it, because it was too heavy to open… like it was made of steel or something, but on top of that when I finally got it off the latch , I saw the villain in front of me!”
“Who was it, your ex?” I made fun of her…
She said, “No way, girl! But I was confused when I saw him… I realized my mouth hung agape… I drooled a little hahaha… He was tall, muscular and handsome. No I couldn’t believe I had just seen Michael Fassbender!, so I rinsed my eyes…
Girl, it was the delivery man with his big grin from ear to ear. He was happy to succeed in waking me up and finally finished his mission….she said,
“Good morning, miss. I’m sorry to bother you at this early hour, but I have a delivery package for you.” Pete imitated the gruff voice of the delivery man.
“Hahahahaha”, now we were all laughing…
“I didn’t say anything… He dropped the package on the floor, right next to my skinny-bare-feet and it was gone so fast. I was taken aback. I didn’t understand what happened… I just found myself at the door of my house freezing and without a robe.”
“What about you?” All of us were shocked.
“Yeah, I was just wearing my Calvin thong bikini, but not even a Victoria’s Secret push-up bra!” She laughed sweetly and continued, “My hair tousled, I went back to bed, telling myself that it was just a nightmare… But it wasn’t! Truly, the delivery man had won a battle but not a war… And a bit of luck too, seeing me half-naked.Afterwards I couldn’t sleep anymore, so I imagined being mugged by this young and sexy delivery man and we had very heavy and hot sex together… hehehe… In that short period of time girls…wow!
