It is a really happy moment for our family that we meet our new family member, it is a festive occasion for the whole family because our first child is yet to be born, my wife is pregnant. That was a very happy day of my life when my wife told me that now you are going to be a dad, I will never be able to express that feeling in words, after knowing this all taking care of my wife, I also manage a little extra time from work to give her to my wife.
On Sunday, my wife and I were thinking about what our baby would look like, then we started googling newborn baby photos. With search results of baby photos I found other photos of women in maternity, I look at that photo and the happiness on that lady’s face is tremendous. On Monday I was thinking about that photo and my wife. I picture my wife in those photos after thinking for a while I decided to do a maternity photo shoot for my wife and start looking for professional photographers in Wandsworth. I found Laura Shimili Mears photography website and booked an appointment with her, she is very cooperative and good communicator, she gives me her time and tells me about the maternity photo shoot, she shows her work and I am really impressed with her work and I took a session. Before the day of the session, Laura gives guidelines on what to wear and how to prepare for the session. On the day of the session, Laura arrived 15 minutes early and talked with us and encouraged my wife to take photos and create a healthy relationship within 15 minutes, she helped her make beautiful photos and my wife felt comfortable with her as well. You can book an individual maternity, newborn (0-1 month) or smaller (3-12 months) photo session or you can book a “bump to baby” or “baby’s first year” package. Maternity sessions are free with a “bump to baby” package and offer 2 free digital images. They take advantage of more images to buy at the normal price of £22 per image.
They do not charge a fee for the photo shoot itself, but do want a £25 deposit to confirm the appointment. The deposit acts as a credit towards the packages that we can choose later.
