The statue of Liberty
The best way to see The Lady is from the ferry that crosses to Ellis Island and returns every 25 minutes. It’s worth paying $10 to visit Ellis Island and the Immigration Museum, which documents American ancestors from around the world. The sight of the Statue of Liberty is invigorating and enriching, and much less crowded than at its feet. This majestic Lady is a symbol of freedom, celebrating American citizens from afar. Unfortunately, because of these symbols, security at the Statue of Liberty is tight. Visitors can no longer climb to the top. Tourists are thoroughly searched and the security control is exhaustive. If you decide to visit the island anyway, it is advisable to call and make a reservation in advance.
Central Park
A recognized American legend, Central Park is located in the center of New York City and is truly a little world unto itself. Other attractions beyond the lush greenery, sprawling random fields, playgrounds, and restaurants include the Central Park Zoo and a beautiful lake where you can rent a rowboat. Central Park also features a number of concert halls and theaters, and on the edge of the park is the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The “old Times Square” has been pushed down Broadway to the Port Authority Bus Terminal, where the run-down area has a seedier history and reputation.
Cathedral of Saint John the Divine
Don’t miss the glorious Cathedral of St. John the Divine while in New York City. The Cathedral is the largest Gothic cathedral in the world. For over a century, it has been a work in progress, but it remains an example of perfect Gothic architecture, highlighted by the colors of the stained glass windows. World Trade Center site
The twin towers were here until September 11, 2001; the day of its destruction by a terrorist attack. Visitors from New York City continue to pack the site every day. If you’ve seen the Twin Towers before 9/11, you’ll definitely feel the empty space of the horizon left behind. Now, beautiful memorial pools stand on the site, dotted with various plaques, recounting the history of the World Trade Center.

The Chrysler Building stands like a precious jewel in the center of the city. The perfect example of Art Deco architecture, it is one of the most beautiful buildings in the world. You can see the lobby, but you are not allowed inside the building, unless you are conducting business.
