Grilled Pizza with Cheesy Hot Dog

What do you need:

  • 5 regular hot dogs, cut into 1/4-inch slices
  • 1 can Pillsbury refrigerated classic pizza dough
  • 1 1/4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup of pizza sauce
  • 18×12 Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil
  • cooking spray

Place aluminum foil on a large baking sheet. Spray with cooking spray then unroll pizza dough, pressing into a 13×19-inch rectangle. Cook pizza dough on a preheated grill over medium-low heat for 2-4 minutes per side. Remove from heat and return foil to cookie sheet.

Heat sausages and pizza sauce in saucepan until warm. Pour mixture into crust then top with shredded cheddar cheese. Return to grill and cook until cheese has melted and crust is golden brown, about 3 to 6 minutes.

Grilled Hotdog and Avocado Bunwich

What do you need:

  • 8 jumbo hotdogs or beef sausage
  • 2 avocados, sliced
  • 1 large white onion, cut into rings
  • Chopped lettuce or cabbage
  • BBQ sauce
  • 8 hot dog buns

Cook the sausages on a preheated grill over medium heat until cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side. Heat onion rings on grill until grill marks begin to appear. Assemble the bunwiches by placing shredded lettuce or cabbage in the bottom of each hot dog bun. Arrange grilled hotdog, avocado slices, and grilled onions. Drizzle with barbecue sauce. Serve warm.

Bacon Wrapped Grilled Cheese Dogs

What do you need:

  • 8 hotdogs
  • 16 slices of bacon, precooked
  • 8 slices of gouda cheese
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 8 hot dog buns, toasted

Cut each hotdog lengthwise like a hotdog bun (not all the way through). Fill the pocket with gouda cheese. Wrap each sausage with 2 slices of precooked bacon, secure with a toothpick. Brush with barbecue sauce then cook on a preheated grill over low heat, cheese side down first. Grill until cheese is melted and bacon is crisp. Serve warm with more barbecue sauce for dipping.
