The entire city becomes Cowboy Central during the NFR. You will find any cowboy of anybody in Las Vegas during this time. You can go shopping at the world famous Cowboy Christmas, get great “cowboy” deals wherever you go, go to the rodeo every night, or catch it at many designated casinos for theater-sized screens. Then, attend one of the many after parties to mingle with your favorite cowboy or cowgirl. In downtown Las Vegas, at the Fremont Street Experience, you can listen to live bands and sip your favorite beverage while mingling with thousands of your closest rodeo fans.

The National Finals Rodeo is the end of the season for cowboys and cowgirls who have been competing throughout the year in the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association, sanctioned and qualified events to attend. The NFR, as it is commonly known, is the premier championship rodeo event in the United States, and it is a goal of every cowboy and cowgirl competing in any rodeo to be good enough to attend the NFR during their career in the rodeo.
