Lead an orderly life

There are many interesting characteristics in the person who is disorganized and in the person who is organized. The disorganized individual takes considerable time to get things done. They lack discipline. The other interesting facet of existence is that they get defensive when you point these things out to them. They will often argue that they are organized in their own way.

On the other hand, the organized human being does things in a timely manner. They have discipline and most of the time they are open to suggestions. They tend to be better team players. A common factor in disorganization is laziness. What I want to point out here is this. If you want to build a life, you will have to organize. You will need order. When you build a house, you don’t start with the roof, you start with the foundation. You will need to know what material is needed and where to get it and how to use it from scratch.

So to have peace and joy in life, you have to start with order. That is the first simple step. The question of discipline is interesting. Those I have observed including myself who lack discipline have trouble dealing with problems. I am not referring to discipline in the sense of submitting to authority. I mean it in the sense of being interested, of caring. You see people who don’t care about order, they tend not to care about others. They can be very selfish, things must be done for their convenience.

Trust me, you will do much more when you have order in life. The human brain is constantly looking for order. Start with the first step to recognize your current state, start with the facts. Put things in order and you will have a good life.
