King of Thieves Review, Eat Pray Steal
Eat, pray, steal!
Put a 2D platformer in the pot, then put in a dash of “Mighty Quest For Epic Loot” and a lot of greed, but try to be careful with the spices; just don’t add too many spices. Don’t forget to add cute cartoon graphics. Now mix them all together over medium heat until completely merged … And well done, you get King of Thieves! But there is a problem with the spices, it seems that Zeptolab could not be that careful with the spices. There is something that everyone hates about the game; pick lock system!
If you like playing platform games and challenging other players, you can spend some of your time on King of Thieves. You just have to give it a try. There is also the well-known “tower defense” element in the game. Still not convinced?
I remember falling in love with this item when I played MQFEL (Mighty Quest For Epic Loot) for the first time. Attacking other players’ dungeons and outwitting them in time, protecting my own dungeon, turning it into a more difficult dungeon to keep adventurers away … I can’t forget those hilarious moments of laughter as I watch the invaders fail! I don’t know if it started with MQFEL, but at least for me it started with MQFEL. At first, I couldn’t be sure after seeing his ugly and edgy drawings, but I still tried it because I noticed there was something new and now I’m glad I tried it.
I kept playing for several months until I really got bored with his drawings. I don’t normally care for graphics or drawings, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like it. For example, I really hate sassy drawings like in MQFEL. There is another game that I love, but I don’t play it just for its drawings; Blood lines. Well … I think I’m becoming irrelevant!
In King of Thieves, PVP is not mandatory, you can choose to play PVE only. Yes, that is quite possible; there are many levels to keep you entertained (and angry!) for a long time. But in the end you will give in to your curiosity and test the PVP. No one can deny that it is fun: you attack other players’ dungeons and rob them while also having to keep these “other players” out of what you rob from these “other players”. Disgusting, huh? Design your own dungeon, set different types of traps to protect your treasure. Some people are drawn to building their own dungeon and defending it, while others love a more aggressive playstyle. Defensive or offensive, it doesn’t matter, I’m sure you will love this fight.
Controlling your cute little thief is very easy; one tap to jump. You liked it, right? Because “one-touch control” games have been invading both iOS and Android for quite some time. As the developers noticed that people could remain lazy, they focused on games that people could control with just one touch. In King of Thieves this is the same; your character moves automatically, you just need to jump in time to pass obstacles.
I don’t know if there is a story or not, I don’t really care. However, I have a title for him, no matter what kind of story he has: “Eat, pray, steal” or rather: “Take care, take away, fly.”
