The next step is to perform the data wipe task by opting for the Wipe data / factory reset option, after which Yes is selected to confirm the task. The erase task will take a few minutes to complete, after which you will need to return to the CWM Recovery main menu.

Step 7:

Next, you need to opt for the option of “wipe cache partition” and, once finished, opt for “Clear Dalvik Cache” which is present in the Advanced option.

Step 8:

Now from your SD card you need to make the selection of “install zip from sdcard” and then “choose zip from sdcard”. The Carbon ROM file that was previously copied to your phone’s SD card should now be located and selected with the power key, after which its installation process is confirmed.

Step 9:

After the successful installation of the ROM file, you need to repeat the above step for the installation of the Google Apps file again.

Step 10:

When the installation of the ROM file and Google Apps is complete, you need to go back to the main menu and choose to reboot system now to restart your phone. You have to boot into the custom Android JB ROM Carbon. It will take some time for the first boot to complete.
