5 possible ramifications of this post-election drama
Historians will look back at this recent, post-election drama / dramaturgy, and probably use it. as an example of what happens, when, a populist politician, who seems to make others, in his party, agree, probably due to fear, and / or, other personal / political consideration, and / or, self-interest , continue to support their efforts, regardless of how unusual and perhaps dangerous they created a potential danger, clear and present, to the best interests of the nation, its citizens and the sustainable interests of the planet. At least in recent memory, we have never witnessed anything like it in these past 4 years under the administration of President Donald Trump and his apparent enablers and, strangely enough, that period, the strangest to date. , has been what we have witnessed before Election Day and the days after. With that in mind, this article will briefly attempt to consider, examine, review, and discuss what this means and represents, and why it is important.
1. Lose faith in our political system: One of the most worrying aspects of this drama is the risk that many will lose faith / confidence in our political system and, perhaps, even in other components of the so-called American Dream. The consistent, lies, half-truths and apparent distortions, constantly articulated by this President, claims, frauds, etc., without any evidence, create doubts, at least, in the minds of his most fervent supporters. When, as the numbers indicate, he lost the popular vote, by some 7 million votes, and, of course, lost the Electoral College, he continues to claim victory, and too many, they seem to believe him!
two. Will future voters be listless ?: It appears that voter turnout this year was one of the largest in recent history. However, after the math, from what appears to be anything but a smooth, cooperative transition, will future voters be more listless because they start out feeling that their voice / vote doesn’t count?
3. Misuse of the judicial system, for political purposes: Our nation is based on the Balance of Powers, between the Executive, Legislative and Judicial Branches of government. Our courts are supposed to be based on the rule of law, rather than politics. Courts should decide on legal and judicial issues, and not get political, etc.! We must demand, in future, that no one is above the law, and the courts must never interfere with free and fair elections!

Use unsupported claims: One of the reasons, almost all the supporters brought in by the Trump campaign, have lost, in court, is simply to make unsubstantiated claims, and the accusations, without evidence, should not be enough to make a defense, especially on a situation so serious and meaningful. affair!
5. Who elects the elected officials ?: Perhaps one of the most dangerous and terrifying behaviors and actions we have witnessed is the suggestion to override / reverse the will of the voters! Who elects these officials and they have forgotten that they are chosen by the will of the people and are supposed to serve and represent all of us, rather than their personal / political agenda and / or their own interest?
Wake up America and make sure that we will not witness these behaviors, in the future, by creating stronger protections and regulations / rules (with – teeth) than we have today! We cannot allow an extension of these types of policies!
